...you wouldn't happen to have a driver's side brake lens left over? It looks very nice and I know from having one how nicely they drive.

We have a lot of spare parts. We keep the old blue mercury with which we had an accident last year. But if we can help someone who is looking for a specific part we would be glad to help.

Ina, I told my wife about you taking such good care of and putting so much love into a Mercury and she wants me to tell you the she is proud and that it makes her so happy to hear that another Mercury has been saved. We had a Marquis Wagon (Fox Body) and it was the first car that Zoe had ever loved. Although neither her or I have ever even touched a Grand Marquis Wagon from the 80s but we fell in love with em. I have always liked Mercury and it spread to Zo. So from both of us we would like to say Thank You.

That car looks great! The exhaust exiting ahead of the rear wheels to the side may become a problem though with fumes getting in the interior. Most mfrs direct exhaust to the side behind the rear wheels to avoid this posiblilty. Let us know how that setup works for you. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Xavier, it was a pleasure... A pity we live so far away from each other.
MotoMike, no problem with fumes so far.... We keep the doors closed when we drive :)

I wish I could have been there. It would have been a great experience to see it all happening, maybe even joining in and getting more experience and knowledge under my hat.
