Nice sleeper....is the green you used a stock color? Thanks for posting the pictures, when the interior is done show everyone those photo's too. David
Wow, that is really cool you're restoring the SAME wagon. I wish I had the 53 Victoria my folks had when I was born.
The color is a custom mix,,we just kept adding color until the boss lady was happy. A sneak peek of the interior that we are still working on. HRP
Very cool! I've got a 302 in mine that I'm going to pull out next winter (suspension upgrade this winter) and make a stroker 347 out of it. I really want to put a manual trans in it along with bucket seats. What trans did you use? Good job on the restoration!
That wagon is lookin great and your garage is neater than our living room! By the way, you sure married a young woman!
Thanks for all the positive comments,,got the rear seat upholstered and installed. The car originally had rubber floor mats and a vinyl and cloth interior, but since the car is not a restoration but more of a rest-rod we went with a 50's style interior. HRP
Incredible job, just amazing. You must have the patience of Job, spending 9 years on it. Wow. We were neighbors years ago--I went to Clemson from '72-'78.
Patience is something I have had to learn,a project like this will teach one to wait! BTW,,during the down time I built my hot rod 1932 Ford pickup from the ground up in 6 months. You weren't a participant on the Clemson Campus back during the Streaking Days were you ?
