There's been a whole lot of nothing going one here except for the virtual car show. Which turned out to be a lot of fun. It's been springtime now for about a week. Dust of the wagons, tune-up and change the oil and hit the streets! In reality it's been spring for about a month here in the desert. But, you northern guys need to get at it. We are having our first car show of the year on Saturday. The High Desert Roadrunners are having their April Fools day show on Saturday. I know it's a day early but it's close enough. I know there will be a couple of wagons present. I can't wait to see what the guy from Kernville has done with his 54 Chevy. He was going to change it from 4 to two doors. Apparently a big project since the Belair doors from the two door won't exactly fit the wagon body. Last year he did the custom dash, chassis and drive train. Six liter crate with a six speed auto. He tows a home built teardrop that's very well done. This guy has talent and obviously the time and money. I won't be showing mine as it's hardly show quality, except for virtual shows. Now get out the polish! Steve
We still have some snow up here, but it is slowly melting. Once its all gone, I m going to give my Mazda and Volvo wagon a nice wash and take some pictures. Speaking of pictures, please take some at the show.
