On Craigslist last week, spotted a 94 red Suburban w/blown trans, for a $1000! 40 miles away, but near my son whose newborn daughter [1/10] I hadn't met, yet! Has 124k miles, but a crate motor was installed @ 96k, no rust, shining like new! Have a used trans, [$200 - lots of connections] and my son and I will install it at his house, on the ground! Wish the interior was grey, [red] but it has cargo doors and rear air/heat, 8-passenger and otherwise loaded! Also needs a windshield, but probably $90 installed! New grandaughter is a cutie, too! Jayni!! Think I did O.K.?
Sweet! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Sounds like 2 steals to me. Stealing the chance to get a loaded suburban needing only repairs that you can make yourself and stealing the opportunity to see your grand baby.
Pictures???????? Haven't even paid for it yet!!!!!!!!!! And I didn't think you guys would like baby pics! Wait until I'm driving it!! He's given me 6 grandkids - 22 to 1 month! Other 2 kids - 1 each! 9/24/11 + 10/24/11 4 boys + 4 girls!
CONGRATS TO YOU AND THE BOY! I love my '99 Suburban but I paid a lot more than you did for it. I hope you have better luck with the heater and A/C than wave been having with ours. The ol' truck is pushing the 200K mark, I guess a few problems are to be expected...
because you had the trannie you did good ... otherwise those 460le (or whatever they are) are pricey. Mine when out in my 94 4wd and considering the 350 had 250k on it I let it go for 1500 ... it just wasnt worth much more than 4k in goode shape
Luckily, it's 2-wd with a fresh posi! Guy was a Body Shop manager at a dealer, and they 'warranteed' almost everything!
