    well, what ARE the parts you don't know about?
    We can answer 'em!

    A great option is a local community college.
    I spent $400 and got to rebuild a 302 for my wagon using the community college's shop equipment :)
    Also... I learn hands-on. I got more out of physically tearing apart an engine than I could just reading the books, not that I'm a bad scholar at all mind you.

    Pick up a Revell Visible V-8 model kit and build it, you can learn all kinds of good stuff.

    Good idea BlueVista. All of our boys built those. It was fun helping them and actually seeing the small block Chevy operate. :tiphat:
    I believe there are other companies and different sizes of these scale model engines. Wait till the model builders chime in.
