Xavier....make sure you don't use the peroxide meant for bleaching hair! Use the weaker stuff that is used for cleaning cuts and bruises. May be a silly post here, but, if you are not familiar with the 2 different peroxides the results could be catastrophic!
Frankly...I would use the stuff Kevin recommended in post #2.

I neglected to consider the two different strenghts of peroxide- my mistake. Yes- the weaker stuff for first aid is what I was referring to.

That is all I have is the weaker peroxide. I have grill lighter fluid and zippo lighter fluid. Which is the one you were referring to?

Oh cool. Kuz I got both and didn't want to use the wrong one. I tell ya. I didn't know that the interior was that light of a grey.

I've had some good luck on upholstery with Folex. It should turn up at your local hardward store.

I'd place a second vote for Tide or whatever laundry detergent you have around. With everything I went through cleaning my carpet this summer, I found Tide mixed with water to be the cheapest and surprisingly effective on carpeting.

Will these work on vinyl or just cloth? My front bench seat has a weird stain in it. It's a red seat and the spot is kind of a grey shadowy spot in the middle spot on the back. I have no idea what it's from because it was there when I bought it.

With vinyl I have had excellent luck with Simple Green or Purple Power and a toothbrush- I just make sure to put a towel on the bottom seat cushion to catch what will run down from the top. The dilution ratios are listed on the bottles. I tend to just use it full strength, but I would recommend starting weak. Then a wipe down with a damp sponge to remove any excess.
