    A Citroen. That was my next guess. Very nice. Those are the ones with the air ride suspension and the car rises up when it starts up. I knew a guy back in high school who drove one that was handed down from his parents. That was back in the late 70's & early 80's, and I haven't seen a wagon like that since.

    Now beyond the French buggies, I have a hankering for anything Country Squire, Miller, VW Type II, big phat V8, 4 doors, rear hatch.....

    Awesome wagon!! Where in the world did you find it and how long have you had it? I too am in So Cal...hope to see you on the road some time. How often do you take your wagon out?

    One of my friends started "collecting" it back in 1972.
    We drive the car 2000 to 3000 per year.
    I have had it for about 5 years now and have put 10,000 or so on it.
    I like going to cars and coffee down iin Irvine when I get the chance.

    Hey, we've got a Kevin Bacon connection. Selman was my local Chevy dealer when I lived down there. in 1989, I bought a '86 Mercury Colony Park from them. Sharp wagon. Unfortunaely, it burned up a week later in Vegas.
