My name is jason. I was almost born in a wagon, brought home in a wagon and will be hauled away in one some day. I have 3 wagons right now. 2 buick roadmasters and 1 caprice. I owned a 57 wagon years ago and am looking to find it. I posted on another forum trying to find it. Here is what I put. These are pics of a wagon I used to own. I am still looking for it. My mother helped me purchase it several years back. She passed away this past week and I am just feeling sentimental. I would like to know what happened to it. If any one has any info on it I would appreciate it. I have pics. It had a 67 model 283 in it, the original powerglide, original radio and bel air trim on dash. It was a 210 though. It was turquoise and white. I had put new leaf springs in the rear, rebuilt the carb, put in new camshaft, new oil pump, new water pump, rewired the car from front to rear and last I saw it, it had discs on it with torque thrust II wheels. It also had a mickey mouse sticker on the back window. If you have any info on it, i would really appreciate it.
Welcome Jason! A good looking wagon for sure! Sorry to hear about your mother, that must have been tough. As far as finding your baby, I would ask some of the others guys who have more experience tracking down cars: Krash, Silverfox, Rev, Cat, Fat Tedy, Wagonmaster...just look around here, these guys really know their stuff.

Jason, that's a good looking wagon for sure hope you find it...how long ago did you sell it? Do you have the name of the guy who bought it? Maybe he could give you a lead??? Good Luck.
Welcome, Jason. Your wagon can probably be tracked down.... How long ago did it leave your family? It's mostly a matter of getting the word out. The more people and places you contact about your quest to find the wagon, the better your chances. Start in the area where the wagon was sold to. Check Craig's List for that area and all the surrounding areas - post 'Wanted' ads with photos. Contact car clubs (get a mailing address and send them a flyer...) Any time you see ANY '55-'57 Chevy, stop and put a flyer on it or talk to the owner. Keep some flyers with you all the time. Contact one of those places that you pay to do DMV work for you. See if they can do a VIN search and have them contact the owner for you (probably can't release the info for privacy reasons) Go to as many 'car' events as you can - talk to people. If you don't get any leads locally, you may have to go national. Keep checking publications - Hemmings, Craig's List (do 'national' searches via http://www.allofcraigs.com/ or other search engines. Keep checking E-bay. Or, if you're really serious and not getting any response with the above ideas, hire a private investigator......
believe it or not, I have tried all those avenues. As of now, i am trying carfax cause I have the vin. I just hope it has a good home. If it doesn't, i might be able to help them out in finding one for it. Mine. I am just afraid of what might have happened to it. You know? Thanks again for all your help guys. I have 3 other wagons here but they are all newer. One is my 83 caprice. I learned to drive in it. I was with my family when we bought it in 84. It was a burn and my family rebuilt it. The other two I recently got from my mother's passing. They are roadmaster wagons, one is 93 and the other is a 94. So I am not without a wagon obviously. I just hope this one is ok.
Car fax says it in Brooklyn Center Minnesota. I know who it is registered to, but I think i should keep that quiet for now. Any of you guys know of it up there? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
HEY!!!!, I found it. I talked to the guy that owns it. He has done alot of work to it and loves and drives it. He hauls a camper with it. He really doesn't want to sell it, but it's ok. I am just glad to know what happened to it and that it is well taken care of. Thanks for all your help.
Glad you found it....how'd you do it? Maybe the owner can give you right of first refusal when he does decide to sell it - keep in contact with him.
