Hi all, My name is Marcel and i am a 34yr old welder and bodyworker. All my life here in europe i have dreamed of a old american car and now recently i bought a 1972 Ford LTD Country Squire 429. It is also my daily driver My first plans are to fix up all the little technical bugs the car has and start rust removal on the bodywork. Great to find a forum about the wagons! Greetings from Holland, Marcel.
glad you found us. Now you can stop dreaming and begin playing with your new toy. Beware...This gets adictive so you better make room for more. Your skills will come in handy while messing with wagons and other four wheeled toys. Good luck.
to the wagon train, Marcel! We have several members of our wagon family here that are from Holland. That's a nice big 'ol Ford wagon you have there......one of my favorites. Glad you found us and please keep us posted on your progress.
Happy Holidays from Weeki Wachee, Florida. Look forward to reading more about your driving experiences in Europe. Post some pictures of your travels... David
Thanks all for the nice words! I will keep on updating when i work on my car. Also i will try to make some nice pictures of my babe on the little Dutch roads. I do get a lot of looks for driving a big ol' Yank here..people either love it or hate it it seems to me..the first question i always get here is about the mpg of this car
