Welcome Plumfat. I love the 73 Gran Torinos as do alot of our members. Look around at some of the postings and I'm sure you'll find alot about them. I have to admit, I know a good deal about Fords, but I'm at a loss as far as what a '58 Courier is. Got any pictures you can post?

Welcome to the Forum! Was that maybe an 85' Ford courier? I am often asked if my Plymouth is a Torino...very similar body styles.

58 Courier is a 1958 ford sedan delivery. Basically a 2 dr wagon with metal panels. Here is a picture of the Torino

Thanks Plum. Now that you say that, I remember seeing one at Hershey last Fall. The 58's have the 57's tailights, am I right?

You got it. This one is red 460 c6 polished american 5 spokes. Funny how many people tell me I dont know what year my own car is because of those taillights.:)

:lolup:Old cars really are fun. I've had my 1955 Chevy 2-dr handyman wagon since late 80's and people tell me I am wrong I have a Nomad!
And the 1939 Ford gets similar discusions. Ford used the 1941 tail llights on panel trucks many years.(y) PS Had a new 1972 Gran Torino wagon.

Welcome from sunny FL. I used to live in CO, still have relatives in the Denver area. I miss the skiing, but not the snow. Great looking Torino. That's one of the wagons I'd drive if I ever gave up my Pontiacs.

Nice looking wagon - looks really clean! What kind of lowering was done? I am in the process of lowering mine now.
