back in august we took the wagon for a little road trip we did a lot of stuff on our trip from south florida up to chattanooga tn we then headed over to hiawasse ga for the mountain music cruise in. one of the things at the show was to cruise the roads of the moonshiner's up to the top of brasstown bald mountain .just thought i would share some pics. the show's organ izer said with this many old cars we are not going up to the top . the wagon was the only car that made it up
'the coke sign was a historic sign along the old dixie hwy. the parking lot pic is on top of the mountain as high as you can drive and the last pic was our last stop

    Great pix!
We visited the "Big Daddy" museum in February - that place was a VERY pleasant surprise!

Cool trip, cool wagon .... what color of blue is that? ... sorta the combo I wanted to do mine.

... oh, by the way, the reason your car made it up the mountain ... its a bowtie!

the blue is a 96 chevy pickup color

it was tough going up low gear and down to about 15 mph around some corners

yes it was an awesome trip we stopped in plains ga and my daughter got a jr ranger badge from the national park service, next stop was atlanta for the martin luther king birthplace for another ranger badge then we went to the historic varsity diner for a treat. next day was time for 6 flags over atlanta . our next day consisted of driving up the old dixie highway and checking out the "Big Chicken" and Kennesaw battlefield for another ranger badge. then we continued up the old dixie to chattanooga tn and rock city. from rock city it was on to hiawassee. then on the way home we stopped at Summit racing (pops scored some loot) and then we stopped at andersonville pow museum for another ranger badge and a special civil war 150 anniversary badge . finally a stop at big daddy don garlits for a last bit of loot for pops and then on to hollywood fl round trip was just under 2,000 miles . thats ontop of the 3500 miles i put on during the power tour
