Here's a few pics of the wagon. It's still going together but getting there. Pics are of the rear after painting and powdercoating , same with front end.

You are right tbird.........already installed a SB 360 w/727 auto. I also put in a custom console along with a custom dash. Have 2 bucket seat from a honda and also putting in rear seat.
I had a 66 Dart pro street a few years back. It was blast to drive 500HP and it was a 10 sec street car, but 4-5 mpg and no heat or radio ,full cage, 3inch pipes made for fun but long rides got hard to handle after awhile.
So I sold it and started this. The wagon is going to be everything the Dart wasn't........heater, good stereo, fully insulated and a real comfortable ride w/ hopefully 15-20 mpg.

Sounds nice. I think a 3.27:1 rear gear should get you in the ballpark maybe even mid 20's on the highway. Of course everything is a compromise. You'd lose some tire shredding ability.:rofl2:

We all love projects so keep the pictures coming.

I would love to come by a project Plymouth Suburban! I have been a mopar fan most of my life. I just sold my hot-rod '67 Barracuda Coupe (340/727) last summer to make room for my "new" Buick.

I have lost my "need for speed", at least for now. But a stroker might be fun in the hearse........

What are the 360 specs? This should be interesting!

The 360 was built with mileage in mind. Has a mild cam, headers and I have a desk top dyno on my computer at work and after typing in the specs, we figured around 260 HP. Which is fine with me for what I want to do with this car.......just a cruiser, nothing more.
