The Buick is off the road, electrical gremlins have taken over as of today, First the radio crapped out AGAIN and then driving home the electronic climate controls started freeking out, heat and fan stoped but the climate control was beeping it's freeken brains out, even more so when I used my turn signals for some reason (???), jumping all by itself from heat to defrost and the temp setting was jumping all over the place.

I've got way to much going on to worry about fixing...or even start trying to figure out WTF so I guess it's parked for the winter. I'm not taking any chance on a electrical fire so I've disconected the battery.......

She is parked, I just don't have the time and don't trust shops PERIOUD, I'll buy another car before I take it to a Mec'scam'anic!

    F***!!!

I'm sorry to hear that, Tedy. I hope that whatever it is it turns out to be something simple. Good luck.

Boy, that's awful news. I hope when you have time to figure it out and work on it, that it all goes very smoothly and quickly.

Since its multiple circuits, could it be a problem with the fuse/circuit breaker panel itself?

It just happened today, I have no idea..?? I have read on this forum way back of problems and gremlins with the heater controls and very resent radio problems, witch radio problems and fuses I have had a ishue with for some time. I honestly have more things that are a priority than ripping apart dashes etc rite now, I'm just bummed out it had to happen:(

Sorry F Tedy. Electrical and vacuum problems put more cars off the road than major engine problems. Take a break from it, read up and ask questions when you get time. Most likely a short or bad ground someplace.

Sorry you're having problems, I thought of this remembering a problem my dad had with a VW beetle when I was a young moto. His fuse block had corroded and was causing multiple circuit issues. Good luck finding the problem when you get/take time to look for it. Cat man had a good idea about a possible bad ground also I think.

My Roadie was displaying many similar symptoms when I got it. Mysterious relays clocking under the dash while driving, stuf not doing what it should, when it should, etc. None of the issues seemed to be related in any way. In my case it turned out to be moisture buildup from the soaked carpeting. I found almost every joint and connector was corroded under the dash.

An hour or so upside down under the dash solved it for me. I disconnected every connector I could find, pulled out every fuse, sprayed it all with Neutrol and worked it with a toothbrush before reassembling everything. There are still a few joints further up in the dash that I haven't gotten to yet but I'd say 99% of my problems disappeared.

Hope yours is as easy to find as mine was. Good luck! (y)

My '91 Custom Cruiser had a few gremlins. When I opened the tailgate, I would lose the presets on the radio and it would switch to AM. Didn't happen every time and it seemed like it did it more when I opened the gate down than when I opened it like a door.

So many electronic devices going haywire at once seems to me like a low voltage issue. Have you checked the charging system and battery?

Tedy, sorry to hear the Roadie's sick. That's never a good thing but I think you said it quite correctly. There's definitely a gremlin, and a nasty one at that, that got in there somehow.

True! I had a Grand Cherokee that acted like it was possessed would start but everything electrical acted weird.. clicking relays and things radio not coming on. After I parked it for a few months. I started it and it was chugging BAD.. spitting and sputtering.. would die when touching brakes but restart. Long story short.. turned out it was just a defective battery!
