Only personalized plates we ever had were onthe wife's '85 Nissan 300ZX Turbo......... ZIPPIE Z On another note, saw a white '72 or so Chevy van driving around one day. Plate on it said: VANA WHT
So today I saw a car with dead turkey tied to the hood with bunjies and duct tape. Sorry, Fanny... couldn't resist.
Ive heard of using baleing wire to attach a soup can to exhaust manifold , anticipating a warm dinner, but duct tape? ... seems like it would ruin the taste of the turkey!
Sorry I didn't get a pic. But it did look a little like this wagon. [Picture from our very own wagon gallery.] It was painted green and grey camo and the back passenger door was covered in plastic and more duct tape.... the whole door. And one of the headlights was just a big flash light... Yep that is the kind of thing I see quite regularly where I live. As for the turkey's flavor being ruined... I think the tire marks on it say the most... But since pictures are wanted... And one that doesn't have a turkey in it but is in Turkey. Turkish Transportation Service. And now for a PP I saw the other day.. or week.. well I saw it at one point on an old van that only had a windshield and front side windows. FRE PPYZ
X, was this tag on the back? Maybe they saw this video: http://youtu.be/fWEsnQ4SSlA Part 2: http://youtu.be/D8tkJhrynPw
Best plate EVER seen in late 90's Was on a yellow early 80's Chevette that was covered in tree mold and driven by a little old lady around here. The back of it had Irish pride stickers all over it. The plate: IRISH2AT Took me forever to "get it" and when it clicked I laughed so hard i was crying! My Saturn has a personal plate: PVMTCHSN Some people get it.. some dont "Pavement Chasing" Fitting since I run the hell outta my little wagon and currently at 362,000 miles
Weeeell... It was about Personalized Plates until I went and screwed it up... But it wasn't my fault, Fannie left it open... ... and I just walked in. As for cooking thanksgiving dinner in a car... I wonder how many people out there that will see this will try it... or something like it. ooh, Fannie is going to kill me isn't she.?.
Mods...? Saw a car in Stanley, New Mexico with the entire rear quarters made out of plywood, I mean trunk, quarters, everything. Bumper was a 2 x 4 of course, and the tailights were red trailer lights, back window...clear garbage bags and duct tape. Sweet action. Sorry no pics. 82 or 83 Ford LTD. No safety down there (lucky). The only place it was worse was Nogalas, Mexico.
Might know who brought up turkeys! Get back on topic Keys! PS, yes, there is an unwritten rule that 50% of the New Yawkers who retire must move to Floriduuuh!
