What a find! Wish I was so lucky haha! I did pick up a few Welk Show DVD's a couple week ago. My dad came over the other day and I had one in, he just goes 'really?! my dad watched that crap!'
A friend, who I'm selling some antiques for said she just felt that this had to go home with me. She also gave me these. I really like the '59 Olds on the larger can.
Seems alot of people here collect vinyl as do I. But my collection is more of the stuff I really like. One thing I found necessary to find my different albums to play is to keep them in alphabetical order ... do others do that? I can not imagine trying to find Lynard Skynard "Burning Flames" album in a hurry if I hadnt done this. BTW for all you Lawerence Welk fans .... he had a trailer park above SanDiego (near Escondido), I think his "museum" is now located there. Ironically that stretch of US 395 was called "blood alley" due to the constant head-on collisions.
The Lawrence Welk Time Shares in Escondido is still up and going today. I collect the stuff I really like, too. I don't buy albums I don't intend to listen to.
Wow! I used the words "Lawerance Welk and Lynard Sknard" in the same post!...... oh the humanity!!! LOL
"Wunda full, Wunda full, sweet home Alabama" Tyurn on da bubble machine simple man................. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
A wun and a two! Changed my mind. As much as I'd love to move in with Fat Tedy and the dogs, I will not lie on the sofa and listen to Lawerance Welk! Lived with my dearly departed grandparents and had to put up with that every weekend! Stick your bubbles where the sun don't shine! I'll stay here in Florida and suffer.
Lawrence Welk is what's good with America! I watch him every Saturday and I'm watching Hee Haw as I type.
Now you sound like my Pa! I'm more of a Gunilla Hutton guy, myself. More finds today. I got a good deal on these three phones. I liked the alphanumeric telephone number on this letter opener. I used to have a flashlight like this, as a kid, but have no clue what ever happened to it.
