Even in the 50's Californians didn't know the safety rules of driving and parking....Look where all the front tires are aiming. No wonder they ended up in the ocean.

Well! At least no logs! And I'd try to be above the trees! Which there are none visible in those photos. :162: PS... You go first!:rofl2:

Looks to me like the front wheels are all pointed towards the curb as they should be since they are facing down hill. But the curb doesn't look high enough to do much good.

    Sci-Fi at its Best?

If its being shown on Mystery Science Theater, it's usually Sci-Fi at its worst...

Sorry, this is a couple of posts late...was out with the little goblins harassing people for free candy...

This was one of the funniest shows that was ever on television. As I remember, the guy got punished by being sent out to space with two robots and they forced him to watch the worst movies ever made. He and the two robots would mock out the flick and they were absolutely hilarious. I laughed more at that show than any I can remember.

As far as the Donna Reed show goes, I don't remember them ever having an Edsel wagon. I seem to recall "Jim" drove Princess, Bud and Kitten around in a '57 Ford.

I think you're getting your shows mixed up. Jim, Bud, Kitten and Princess were on Father Knows Best. The Donna Reed Show was Alex, Mary and Jeff. And YES, I watched way too much TV as a kid.

AZ, you are absolutely right. I apologize. Clearly, my bad, as the kids say nowadays. I'm pretty good with cars on old tv shows, but try as I might, I can't remember a single car from the Donna Reed Show. I do remember the father, Alex, was a doctor. If memory serves, Jim, from Father Knows Best, sold insurance.

Yes Snoot your right Alex was a doctor. A Pediatrician to be exact. I can't remember any cars either.
