    Hey, all,

I hope this is OK to post here, couldn't find a better place. Anyway...

I have a lead on a 72 Vista Cruiser power window system, 4 lifts, full harness with switches and 3 of the door boots. I know that the rear door lifts are for the longer VC rear passenger doors, but I think I can mod/fab them to work. Any thoughts on what a system like this would be worth, considering it will need some mods? WOuld need to be shipped across country to SO Cal, so that is a consideration in the price as well.

    Thank you for any input,
    Tom

Putting myself in your place (and I love having power windows...), I'd be willing to pay maybe $450 + shipping for all that.

No updates because of crazy results on a window lift order (no harness). Had my hopes up, then down, and now middle'n. Parts supposed to arrive today or tomorrow. Will update when I open the box...

Did you get a harness? And what did the entire set up cost you? Did you look it over yet? Is it gonna work out? :slap:

No harness, cheap, no - haven't seen it yet, I'm gonna MAKE it work...

I was going to try to make a post 73 'Burban/Caprice system work, so starting with a genuine 68-72 A-Body setup, even if the rears are too long and have to be modded (VC vs Flatroof rear doors, ya know), I have no fears.

But lord, how I hate buying stuff long distance/sight unseen/look at the grainy picture!
