I have done this before, and never had any resulting problem. I don't know that I would have done it to THAT CAR, but I have done it.

I probably did it an average of once a week to my '91 Caprice when I drove taxi. I poked two holes in the floor with a spike so it would drain nicely.. I got tired of cleaning up puke and smashed food, makeup and crap. I was already using the pressure washer on the outside and it worked well on the inside.

I have also cleaned up two little diesel rabbits and a 300td that sat and grew god knows what in a field for who knows how long. They cleaned up nicely. For them I did possibly worse than simple car wash pressure washer, I used a jenny steam cleaner !

I'm guessing to use a power washer on the interior of a new Mercedes, the chances are it was a desparate attempt to remove the smell after something or someone died in it or at least puked in it.

I can understand using a pressure washer on a well used taxi or an older pickup with basic interior. But that guy even hit the dash with the wand.:49:

My guess is that after it dries out he will sell it to an unsuspecting buyer.
