I've been searching the forums, and countless websites looking for weatherstripping and gaskets for my 67 Ford Ranch Wagon. I need to pop out the rear side glass to repair a few small rust holes in the window channel, I'll try to save it but I want to have access to a new one just in case. I need all the seals, wiskers, gaskets, weatherstripping, etc for the Tailgate glass as mine is totally turned to dust. Does anyone know if there is anything that will interchange? Do any of you guys know where to get these at?

Anyone??? I've read about guy's with Pinto Wagons using the door seals from a late model Ranger to seal up their hatch. There is a little excess but that'll just get trimmed. Anyone know of anything that will interchange with my 67's rear glass? I found a few pieces at steelrubber.com.

I didn't see any wiskers or channel that the glass rides in though. I'll take some measurements off the passenger doors to see if the channels could be made to fit.

The wiskers from an 80's ford wagon might fit right? Is the mounting system the same?

The reason no one answered, tab, is because the weatherstripping for old wagons is almost non-existent.

Can't help with the where to get but IMO you should find a 80's ford wagon to examine and compare, britty hard to guess that swap. And like the Pinto/Ranger swap you mentioned.... someone had to be the first.

Sometimes taking the old rubber and cutting it so you have a profile of the old will help in maybe matching it up with a company like Steele sells.

Finding weatherstipping is an effort in total frustration for many cars. What I finally had to do was to spend an afternoon in a junkyard looking at all the cars and various sealing methods.

For example when looking for the outer belt seals on the window of my 86 Tbird I discovered that the Ford Tempo seal was a very close match. The problem was the two door tempo seal was only long enough if I had vent windows which I did not.

The tailgate seal is the worst. I think they were very unique to the model. I found that on my Cougar wagon the rear hatch seal was the same as a Ford trunk seal. Except that the trunk seal was 4" too short. The solution was a trunk seal from a full size ford.

Experimentation is the key to the unobtainable seals. By the way Ranger door seals work on Fox body Ford doors (early Explorer too). For your 67 get creative and you might just find something from a chevy or mopar that'll work decently. As for the wiskers also try JC Whitney but typically their stock is from Metro, Steele, Softseal and others.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would chime in here. I used the back of velcro for my fuzzies, it worked great!
