Hello everyone! Lifetime car nerd here. I love all types and eras of classic cars (American brands only) but favor Studebakers. Also a lover of station wagons! They come and go in my life, but currently I have a 57 Studebaker Provincial (headed soon to a new owner in GA) and a 64 Stude Wagonaire. Also have a 66 Falcon Club Wagon van (they called it a 'station bus', does that count?). All are running but need restoring. Anyway, I'm happy to find this forum. Just went through a couple late nights going through the picture thread<G> Over time I'll be exploring the site and wading in here and there. Thanks to the powers-that-be for a great site!

glad you found us here. Most of us love just about anything with wheels and tires. Among my other junk, son has a 1950 Studebaker Commander 4-dr in a shed out back. Even writing the name is loooong! Not many know it, or care, the inventor of GatorAid loved and owned many Studebakers. His son still has a lot of restored and originals. Have fun looking the forum over. It's much more than a station wagon site. You'll learn about life, dogs, memorabilia, and useless junk!
Yes, you can learn alot from this forum. The storehouse of knowledge among the members is amazing and if we don't have the information you need about wagons, life, the universe, and everything, then someone here should be able to point you in the right direction. Even if you need to know something far removed from the subject of wagons, such as, for example, just how many banannas it takes to get a lethal dose of radiation? Thanks. That car came out of Philly; I literally had to hustle down there to get it before the City hauled it to the crusher from the owner's driveway for violation of codes. It runs but needs partial floors. I have new pans for it, which I'll weld in over the winter. Needs the usual for a car that's been sitting- drop and clean the tank, new belts and hoses, tuneup, brake checkup. Quarters are full of bondo, so I'm trying to decide how far into it I want to go. Probably just touch up and drive the wheels off Main thing is that it's saved. Thanks for the welcome!
