I am wondering if there is any upgrades to suspension to a caprice wagon. Might also want a cowl hood too. Info on this stuff would be greatly appreciated.Any other mods will be helpful to. its got a 350 v8 in it.

A good way to find upgrade parts for the Caprice is to search for Impala SS components. Suspension parts and aftermarket hoods are bolt-ons to the Caprice.

There are several hoods available in glass, layz. If you are looking for parts for your rig...look around here some more and also look around over at http://www.impalassforum.com/
Keep in mind, though, that most all of the conversation over there is regarding the 94 & up LT1's. Still....they have suppliers and members that will be selling stuff you may be looking for.

Actually there are probably far more options available for the pre-LT1 engines.
    Easier to tune being ODB1.

I owned and built a 93 wagon. If I were you I would join the Impala SS forum. They have a wagon section. I built mine almost 10 years ago, and I'm sure that you can get more parts then I could. What I had was lowering springs on it(for a Impala SS), poly bushings front to back(I believe they were PST),Impala shocks... now you can get upper and lower
arms for a wagon, and sway bars too. Sheet metal... hood, fenders, front end are all the same as an Impala SS... so that's up to you. I also had a roll pan on mine with the Impala SS grille and mirrors. Interior is up to you, but the best bang for the buck is a Grand prix front and rear seat. The rear has to be modded, but it's really easy. Wheels, I had 20's and the ride and handling was unbelievable! As far as the engine goes... not too much you can do. I had a cold air kit, headers, duals. The TBI is a pain in the A$$ to mod. Its "do-able" with $$ and know how though.
Like I said before, join the Impala SS forum, cause theres much more out there. Good luck with your build, thats a great car!

I found a great deal of suspension performance is gained just by installing a good set of shocks, the Sensatrac line from NAPA are a coilover design and made a huge improvement in my wagon!
