Those 2 woodie I wish I had back.Thats the IF part, but I've been at this car thing along time! I did start saving the old cars in my life. Right now I have about 30 cars I have saved over the last 30 years or so.I try to educate the young kids to the fact that these type of cars will NEVER be built again. I can't tell one car from another nowdays,it used to be easy. I use to say I had one of those car once, now I can say I have one!!!!!!!! I'm not very computer savy, but I'd say the internet has saved many old cars form the crusher..!!!!!!!!

figmo, that's great to have so many old cars and actually like them. Many collectors love only one or two brands. I love anything with wheels! Sadly I've always lived in the city with small lots and not much storage areas. Altho we did manage to stick four cars in the garage and several more along side it. With the newer laws, we couldn't have even done that. Now we are in the boonies with five acres. No energy left or desire to really do much with them.:whew: But just think if collectors like you didn't save some of those old cars. As you said, once they are gone, there will be no more. I remember as a young boy, seeing a car come down the street and saying " their's a new Buick." Now I don't know a Kia from a Caddy! And most younger people don't care.

Most of these cars I have are in vaious states of restoration. But they are all 100 percent complete ,so if I bite the dust someone won't have to go looking for parts to finish them.. Even tho the internet has made locating parts much much easyer!!!!!!!! I have a 10 year old that even knows the differance between a 57 chevy and a Dodge charger. I'm not sure if he keeps me going or the love of these old cars!!!!!! SEEEEEEEEEEE YAAAAAAAAAAA
