    I wish there was more of that vid! I always wondered how they could build the country squire wagons with all the tiny metal trim, faux molding and wood grain decal and still get it along the assembly line.

    There's something about auto assembly lines that make the heart sing isn't there? In high school my Electronics instructor took all of his students to the Ford plant in Oakville every year. I never really figured out why but sure loved the trips.

    You're right about assembly lines, CyberWiz. Living in Michigan, our school Field Trips included visits to plants,
    and we toured Olds (Lansing) in about 1965, one of the Fisher Body plants, and Buick Main (Flint) in 1970.
    Later lived in Kenosha, WI (1971-75), and I regret never touring the AMC Main plant, now demolished.
    Heady days for the industry, indeed!
