    I've an '80 GMC, 350 4BBL with 400 THM and 3.08? rear. I can get 20 mpg on the highway. But my timing is maximized. 8º initial, lighter springs in the mechanical, and full working vacuum advance. And then keep your foot out of it. These barn doors have a tough time getting through the air at 60mph, and at 70mph it's just murder on economy.
