We spent six days at Deming, WA, at the vintage trailer campout. It is held at the Deming Logging Show Grounds, a nice location nestled in the trees at the base of Mount Baker, and about 15 minutes from Bellingham, WA and the ocean. I took some pics (yes, remember the camera) of the various vintage tow vehicles (TV's they are referred to, and campgroungs are CG's) that I thought you might enjoy seeing. The event at Lynden, WA the second weekend of September will be about double the size of this one 61 trailers) and there will be quite a few more vintage TV's to admire and wish I owned. More on the next post. And of course CS54 and I had our wagons there but you've seen then (probably too many times ) in previous posts.
More................. And one of these that I had to show you is a 1960 Holiday House trailer that is gorgeous. The owner/restorer intends to tow it with his 1958 Edsel wagon he has converted to a sedan delivery, has a 390, and needs new rear gearing before he puts the trailer behind it. He is an absolute perfectionist and it shows in pretty much everything he does. Nice nice guy, when he brings his wagon I'll grab pics and post them.
Nice, Saf...I really love this old stuff. Happy that others love it enough to bring it back. I want the pink trailer. Saw one of those before...I love the style of those.
thanx for remembering the camera !!! great pics Barry....that lil pink and polished bit is sure purdy
