Greetings all; I'm a new member to the forum and want to introduce myself.

My love with station wagons began when I purchased a new 1965 dodge custom 880 wagon in sept. 1965.

I've owned wagons ever since and this past october I purchased a 1965 dodge custom 880 wagon in amazingly good condition that is the exact duplicate of the wagon I bought new in 1965. same color, same engine, same interior, etc. etc.

The car was restored by someone several years ago and needs some cosmetic work but drives wonderfully. I bought it in Binghamton NY and drobe it back to CT for five hours at 60-70 mph and got 20 mpg. car ran fine and it felt wonderful to be looking out over that great broad expanse of hood!

Car is in the barn for the winter but I can't wait for spring to get it out and start hitting the cruise nights. should be lots of fun.

would love to hear from other 65-66 dodge polara/880/monaco wagon owners or lovers.

    fred

    Hi Stephan

No, its not the same wagon. but it could have been. the one I purchased this fall was originally shipped from the Newark Del. factory to a dodge dealer near Syracuse on 11/3/64. Since I bought it in Binghamton NY, I would assume it spent its life in the greater mid-NY state area. I purchased my original 880 in hartford CT in Sept. 65. I'll try yo post a pix. fred
