Hey all, I FINALLY got my rims restored and on the car. This car had those UGLY body color cone shaped AMC Monsters on it! YUCK! Anyway, these are factory AMC but Aluminum and called a Turbine rim. They were only offered on the 1979 and 1980 Pacers. I just happened on this set. Let me know hat ya think! Jay

    What a great looking Pacer!
I think those turbine wheels make the car.
And I think that is the BEST color combination on a Pacer wagon.
    Nice car!(y)

Thanks JMT! One of my best friends who lives in VA near DC has a car identicle to mine! LOL, So not only do they look good this color combo, but, it was popular backj in the day as well! Hoping next year to have them both at the same car show! :1st: LOL

The wheels really finish the car off nicely. What a difference. I'd love to see a picture with the old wheelcovers on it; I know the ones you're talking about and these wheels look so much better.
    Beautiful little wagon.

Jed, I love your Pacer wagon! It is so beautiful! I want it! :taz:

    Your new wheels look fantastic!
They remind me of the very similar FoMoCo turbine wheels used on the mid-sided cars like Cougar and T-Bird. They always made those cars look better, and these make yours look great! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Your Pacer wagon is really the ultimate version of the Pacer. It's got it all!

    David :)

Boy....those are NICE wheels, jed! Look a lot like the 80's Grand Marquis Turbine wheels. The Pacer looks great with those!:thumbs2:
But....would you be angry if I said I liked the caps better and thought they went with the car better as a stock item?

Here's the car with the old caps....

I still have the rims and caps, factory wise! I may switch em out backj and forth, just to mix it up a bit! I am now dealing on another Pacer wagon. Its a 1979 wagon in Misty Beige metallic, Rare Limited model with leather and a factory V8! Cant wait to get that one home!
