what would you consider this ?? (besides awsome)

At first glance, this car may just look like an old Subaru:

But take a look from a different angle:
Behold, the “VolksAru.” Front-half Subaru, back-half Volkswagon. Complete with two engines, two shifters, and a nasty split personality.

I can Appreciate good wokmanship, but I'd have to see it up close for that. I'm sure it took time and some skill but in this case I'd still have to wonder WHY!?:slap:

I keep looking at it trying to see what the builder sees...but I think I'm missing it??? It's just confusing to me...

The front is very square compared to the back, around the doors and windows. The wheels/tires don't match. Different sizes don't bother me but white and moons on the back and quite the opposite on the front???

Sorry I'm not getting it...maybe some things should be left seperated...

That thing must be unstoppable in the snow!

Kinda funny, the front half is one of the cars I drove in high school and the back half is what my wife drove in high school. Both cars have their merits, but neither is the least bit exciting. I can't imagine what would inspire someone to build that... other than maybe a whole lot of booze and a whole lot of spare time.

It's a stick shift Subie and it shows the 4WD selector so it wouldn't be an AWD but a selective 4WD. The selector is still there so I would imagine that the Subaru chassis is under there and still functional.
