Fellow Wagon owner here.Have owned 2- 67 Nova Wagons,3- 66 Nova Wagons,a 72 Chevelle Wagon,and currently a 65 Nova Wagon.
Well, except for the Weld wheels, radiused rear wheel openings, humongous hood scoop (and I'm sure prodigious power), your Nova looks exactly like my dad's '65 Nova wagon back in '65. Same color even..... Welcome to the forum, Beachseat. Marshall.
Thank you! Do you happen to have pictures of your fathers car?Mine isn't the factory blue. It's similar to Marina Blue, which I like, but didn't choose.I had a 67 hardtop Nova painted Marina Blue,so I choose something a little brighter this time. This is a 1998 KIA color called Lapis Blue.I'm not sure what they called the blue on the Novas back in 65,but I know they have a color like mine.My car was actually a lighter blue when it was new, kind of a blueish-silver color. The story behind my 65 is...I had a real nice red on red 66 ChevyII Wagon with a 6 cylinder and a powerglide,I bought it originally to put a big block in.Then a set of frame rails, wheel tubs, and Koni front drag shocks came up for sale that a friend had.....he was asking $150 for all the parts.I bought the stuff but didn't have the heart to cut up my red 66 Wagon.Another friend told me of the 65 I have now for $600 as a roller.I bought it not being fond of a 65,so I had no problem cutting it up.Now after 13 years, the 65 Wagon has really grown on me. Heres the cars I mentioned, and the 65 Wagon when I first got it,a normal looking Wagon still at that point.
