Hey guys- I've been looking around for a nice sounding exhaust system and I think I've finally found it. The thing is, the guy in the video is being secretive about what he has done to do it- so I'm hoping some V8 vetts would be able to help me pin point what muffler/piping diameter/headers, etc etc I'd need to get mine to sound like this. This exhaust is less raspy than others- and just more deep, the exact sound I'm going for on my wagon. Anyone have any ideas? Much appreciate the help :)

He does have the 305 V8 in it.

No one's got a clue? Does anyones car sound like this that they can give me some direction? I think I might just have to show my exhaust guy this video clip.

Sounds stock with a rotted out muffler to me.

From others I've heard and seen built it sounds fairly standard but with good quality 'made-for-noise' mufflers. Even a well sealed standard system can sound great - mine does, it's an 89 Electra Wagon with a nice deep rumble.

Having said that my muffler is about to come out and be replaced with a cherry bomb, and will probably have twin pipes installed with an H pipe if there is room. I had two cherry bombs on the pipes of a 69 mustang years ago, its just about screamed like a race car when it got wound up, sounded great:thumbs2: , that car moved.
