Since it's almost impossibe to find the C3DF-1750-4K wiper motor, has anyone been able to find a replacement that works for this part?

If all else fails, a local "Motor Repair" shop could rewind the armature and other windings, as well as rebuild the commutator.

I'm surprised that other Ford models from that period didn't use the same basic core. I can peel off a wiper motor on any Ford from 1978 to 1986, even fullsize Mercuries and Lincolns, for my Fairmont. Maybe even back to 1970. The head might change, but the motor section should be common.

    wiper motor

I found that out ya'll.... I went to a few electric motor places to ask about rebuilding the two speed motor.... "Can't do it.. they don't have the parts anymore." The only replacement motor I found ,was a one speed, Cardone Industries 40-211.
