Not sure I'd believe it was Barris' personal vehicle (wouldn't be surprised though). I ilke how they reused the same Eldo back glass.....
Without the fender bumps that look IMHO so out of place, this is actually a surprisingly not bad looking mod. Like KK, I kinda like what they did with the back. I would be forced to lob off the fender tops, paint it a different color, and......
Yeah, I not fussy about those bumps on the fenders...looks like acne. They might want to put something over that plate opening under the bumper too...just sayin
Casa de Eldorado built by George Barris... That car is supposedly the one Dean Martin had... Glen Campbell is also said to of had one of the same.. Purportedly at a cost of 18,000$ additional to the car purchase.. Gotta remember, back in the day 'stars' wanted austintatious,, something to set *them* apart from the rest... The car pictured sold in 2007 for 25,000$ on flebay...
Hi Xenon, Could you please light my memory giving source of your info's if possible. I can't remember where I noted it was Georges Barris personal car so I can't confirm. These 2 pictures are stored in my PC with that info I certainly found on the web, possibly even on this forum. Thanks
