It's still on my puter....I copied it....BUT...I haven't tried the phone number yet but my first email to the seller went through and the last one did not. It MAY be that he is only taking phone calls, but, I have to say, one's like these only last about 10 minutes. Guess I'll never get one....this one looked perfect....

Car is in awesome shape with 161 k original miles. Very clean. Shiny paint. Runs and drive good. Hop in and enjoy
541-326-1842. Sale fell through. Sorry to all those who were interested. First here with cash drives it away! I will not hold it for anyone again

IF this was a stick shift then it is exactly what I wanted. Perfect year...even the color is perfect. I should have called instead of emailed. All I needed from the guy was whether or not it was a stick shift. I would have bought this car in a hearbeat. Now...I'll wait another 6 months or more only to have the next good one go equally as fast out from under me. I guess I need to take that trip to the PNW and hang around looking for one.:(

Looks like a stick to me.......
For $875, I don't think you could go wrong.
Looks a lot better than that one in Klamath Falls I saw.
I could go look at it for you, but not till Friday at the earliest.

Pretty sure it's gone, KK. I will call to see for sure. But...he said he won't hold it for anyone. First guy there with the money owns it. I don't have the cajones to roll the dice on it. Should, but I don't. It looks like everything I want, but, there's always that doubt without a look see.
    EDIT:
    Called....got answering machine. Left message.

Still on my puter this morning AND still clicks up on CL. But, I called the guy and left a message with no answer back. I've been looking for so long for one like this....it's really frustrating to finally find one and not be able to contact the seller.
By the way, KK...thanks for the offer to go look at the car for me. I didn't know for sure if you were located near this car. It would appear that the only way I will ever get the specific car I want is to travel to the PNW and camp outside an owner's house until he decides to sell it.:yup:

Ashland's pretty much the same distance as Klamath Falls - I just take I-5 south instead of going over the Cascades to hwy 97. Ashland / Medford area is the first 'city' inside the border of Oregon coming north from California on the I-5.

Looks like the car Jackie Chan had in Gumball Rally. Just paint it black and have a big jet engine poking out of the hatch.

SF, sorry the guy isn't more responsive; good things come to he who waits, or at least that's what "they" say.

Thanks, snoot. I really liked this one but they don't last long enough for me to get info on them.

Fox, it's not a 2 door but it sure is sharp. Unfortunately it's not for sale.

I love the older subarus.. and they are so hard to find since most all rotted to dust long ago. Looks like that is a nice survivor and the owner was basically giving it away.. ones that nice and worse go on ebay for insane $$$ like $2,000+

Wonder if the buyer will flip it on e-bay
