Just got my 1969 galaxie 500 country sedan Wagon today! It's got 390 a/c p/s and pdb Blue on blue. the kids love it almost as much as me. It was sitting for 10yrs until recently. The last owner put new carb plugs starter+ sloenoid So it ran great I took it for a spin and was fine. I decided to drive it home (about 50 miles) and made it about 20 before the fuel line got clogged and had AAA tow it home. I got it running from a fresh gas can and it runs great. Looks like I'm going to have to change the lines and have gas tank re-done. Not looking foward to draining 15 gallons of gas out. Are there any vendors for parts for these wagons?

:Welcome:to the forum. You should be able to find the mechanical parts for your wagon. The hardest things are rubber weather stripping and other rubber bumpers. But even those are around. Even universal pieces by the foot if you check. ----------Replace all fuel and brake lines before you drive that wagon far! Possibly you can add extra fuel filter near tank and keep checking them. Get the clear, glass ,if possible. Should be a drain plug on the tank also if needed. :camera: Send pictures so we can see what you have.

Heh, I was eyeing the same wagon. Almost Bought it Now sight unseen from RI until I found out it was only a six passenger.

I'll check my '69 shop manuals on the gas tank removal.
