As some of you know I have been fixing a 2003 Kia Optima. It is now ready for sell. My wife and I want to buy a wagon , and even the though the kia isn't even listed yet I find myself scouring everything and every place with a nitpick in search of the wagon that shall become the newest member of my family... What doesn't help, aside from torturing myself with wagons out of reach, is that it costs money to sell a car and I don't have that yet . Middle of the month at the earliest, end of this month or the beginning of next month at the latest. I hate this waiting . I feel like a little kid at the beginning of December, I know its coming but I can't wait! So the Kia is going to be listed at $4200. Well worth the cost for everything that has been done. The only things wrong with it, and I DO mean THE ONLY things wrong with it are the A/C needs to be recharged and when you lock the car the front passenger side door is hard to unlock and you have to turn the key and pull the handle at the same time about 2/3 of the time. Here again is what has been done to the car in the last year: New windshield, both front spindles (axles) are new, new starter, the fuel lines have been cleaned, new belts, most of the bulbs are new, about a quarter of the fuses are new, all new tires, new spark plugs, complete tune up, oil/ oil filter change, transmission fluid/ transmission fluid filter change, new wiper blades, the high pressure line for the power stearing is new, all recalls have been attended to, front end releveled, motor mounts have been fixed, new engine air filter, new gas cap, new thermostat, new radiator cap, radiator flush/ new coolant/antifeeze. So if you know anybody who wants a good car...
A Kia Optima or a classic wagon. Hmm. Let me think for a minute which one I'd rather have!! Ok, I decided--THE WAGON!! No wonder you're excited. I hope you sell the Kia quickly and then get into a real car. Best of luck.
I'm looking for a 1984 Mercury Marquis Wagon... Well thats my top choice. A Lebaron, or Dodge Aspen, or almost any of the variations on the marquis. I love that body style. Oh there are many other styles I would love to have, but I am forced to limit myself to ones that have an MPG in my general price range... that means no V8s for me... which really sucks...
Don't knock out the V8's (5.0/302) in those Fox wagons when it comes to millage.....been there done that and a carburated 302 tuned and driven corect will give you almost if not better millage than the V6 with the bonus of more power. Problem is, a V8 in that style will cost you more today. Good luck with your sale, but why do you have to wait....put it on graigs list etc now!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

I like both, especially the Olds, but, truthfully, my wife and I are a little leery to use craigslist. After our car accident last year we tried to find another suzuki esteem and ended up there. We found another suzuki that we wanted to look into and did and then our email got hacked. We found out that this is not unusual when using craigslist. However, I suppose we could make a new email and use it just to be safe. When it comes to what we are looking for, we want something from no newer than the late 80's and something that gets around 18 MPG or can be modified to get that much or higher. I don't know that much about engine types and what works for what I just know that V8s tend to be thirsty. If I found one all the better. I love big machines. Wanting a 1984 Mercury Marquis Wagon is purely sentimental. If there any suggestions about what would suit us best or what engine types to look for I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

just a word of advice when you list the car, state specifically that it was not damaged in the tornado. Some people get weird about that stuff. given the amount of damage done in your area..i wouldnt be suprised if it sold fast. their are a lot of people in joplin in need of transportation.
Ok, I have got the kia all cleaned up and some pictures taken. It looks as shiny as it did when it drove off the lot. Its not listed yet. But sooooooon.
similar Heres an LTD wagon (similar to a Marquis) in ABQ. 850.00 is not too bad and it should be rustfree. Need some more info though. http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/2488919425.html hi i am selling a rare 1983 ford (ltd) wagon for more info please call 831-0173 (i never check email)
It is so not fair how many beautiful wagons there are. I, unfortunately, cannot post my kia until my phone has minutes on it again (Friday the 15th), because I need people to be able to call me before I list it. But after that, oooh man!!! I can't wait!!! I want one so baaadly, it hurts...
Okay, time to get to know me better Xavier was my name in french class in high school. It is the name use online. My name is Keys. Seriously... Below is a pic of me that my wife snapped of me when I wasn't paying attention and the kia... That is the car I have put my sweat and blood, literally, into.
Keys ????????? Okay now Keys, settle down before you wet your pants. Seriously that Kia is looking good. Dump it ( oohps, sell it) and find a decent low mileage wagon. Whatever you do, don't tell a Kia buyer about this forum!--------Were your Mom and Dad in far south Florida before you were born? Or did they loose their car keys under a mat like someone who I won't mention on here did?
