Hey everyone, what a great forum. My wagon ism a 1966 Buick Sport Wagon, based on the Skylark chassis, with skylights ala Vista Cruiser. Previous vehicles I've owned include a Dodge Ramcharger 4X4, Jeep Cherokee 4X4, 1960 Plymouth Satellite (the one that got away) and a two wheel drive Blazer. How I got the Buick is kind of a long story, the blazer was fairly new and full of computers and when it started acting up I researched what to do and found much confusion in forums over which computer was the culprit and how to attack the problem. I finally narrowed it down to the Body Control Module (?) and then found out that my year Blazer didn't even have one! Feeling somewhat over whelmed I took it down to the local GMC shop, where The service manager only had three thing to say: "My guys can fix it" "We won't know what's wrong until we "open her up" (sic)", and, "we won't know what it'll cost til "we open her up", but it'll be at least $100 (one shop hour I guess) to check it out. I've been tinkering with cars long enough to remember the days when the service manager would discuss the problem with you, and maybe even get one of the mechanics to come and talk to you if necessary. I guess I'm just suffering from Old Fart Syndrome. So when The kids needed a car I happily parted with the Blazer, and on a trip to Las Vegas I found this runner for $2000 - who could pass that up? It's got issues, of course, so I'll be posting in the appropriate forums. Take care.
Click the profile, guys...good pix there! Galleries. to the wagon train, rocker. That is a NICE wagon! It looks seriously clean! I love Buicks and love the sport wagons. Yours is one of the nicest I've seen for a while!
Rocker. I didn't see any wagon but that pretty gal looked like a good sport. Get some pictures up and have fun playin here with your wagon.
There's one of these about 4 miles from my house that I see every so often. Not near as nice as yours, but I drool on it anyway! Good luck with it!
