After I have posted my wagon here it comes up twice in the top ten images when searching for 1962 Rangoon red country squire!! Hard to believe. Are there no other cars listed by color and year?

It's not perfect yet, but have a go at the new image search functions in Google Images!

    http://www.google.ca/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi

If you click on the little camera icon at the right end of the search field, you can give it a picture from a website, or from your computer and it will locate similar images from around the 'Net. I've been using an application on my local PC called Imgseek for years that does the same. I've been anxiously waiting for Google to catch up to the technology and start offering it online.

That's precisely why I've been so excited to get imaged-based image searching online. It seems so silly that my image results should be based upon page content only, or worse incorrectly named image files. If Google can make this new search method work as well as Imgseek or Tineye, this will really improve the quality of search results and how quickly we get the correct ones.
