got me a roof rack!!!

    well its not stock, but i couldnt bring myself to drilling the roof.
    pics for you to paruse... :wave: oh yeah i found me some unilug wheels too, and curb feelas! enjoy ...

    I like it. I also like the period correct wheels. You might want to spar varnish the wood. Regular verathane doesn't weather very well. It's kinda like the roof racks that they put on VWs.

    im already ahead of ya tnirdsps, i brushed them with poly clear...
    stained them with tea bags (earth friendly wife heheh)

    Homo depot JAJAJAJA!
    the gutter clamps were from some left coast tree hugger lets go hiking and keep the earth green store,
    the rest well if i had a welder it would have looked a wee bit betta.
    summer is coming up and i needed to haul a canoe, lumber, the twins... LOL
    no mentiras ( i lie) we wanted to go camping and such but to get a hitch it would run me 300.00 because they dont make it no mo'
    so i opted for a rack.
    it acually is very strong and very functional. and it dont look half bad.
    the side poles are for the fishing rods, and the eye bolts are for the tie downs. but like i said no holes in the roof which is the best part and i like it!

    i done told ya bubba if you get up here i got a welder or two in the garage,,,,you buy the cervases,,,,i drink and watch you do it,,,ha.ha.ha. just kidding i,ll help with more than consumin the cold ones,,,,,love them wheels,,i got a set in the shed waitin to go on something and you got the curbfeelers wheres the bobblehead cheewawa doggie for the dash :jumping:

    thanks cutlass but lately ive been getting the old BOHICA at work were losing alot of people so the ones that are here are being abused.
    im gonna have to make it up there before they change me jobs though... we'll have to drink a few barley pops...

    JAJA oh yes the mighty BOHICA but thats ok
    Im in FIGMO status...
    in G.I. (not gastro - intestinal) terms thats Fu#$ it I Got My Orders!
    they can work me long but they cant work me HARD!
    i will soon (if i pass) be flying the not so friendly skies as a loadmaster!
