    Jeez Doc - I'm nobody. Shouldn't you send it to Pat Ganahl, or Stephen King and have them do the signing? If they refuse, then I'll gladly do it. In fact, I'd be honored. Just PM me and we'll take it from there.

    Great, now I gotta practice up - I've been forging Ganahl's signature for years (thanks for the new tires, Pat!), but never even tried King's before...

    a1awind: There's a feature on a '92 Roadmaster sedan delivery in there. We had three of those cars lines up, but sadly, only one made it past the editors. I was hoping to better represent the 'fat wagons', as they're so afforable and come with modern drivetrains, etc. But in the end, we ran out of time and room for most of the late-model stuff we wanted. Maybe in Volume II?

    Teej: I'm new at this (remember, this is my first book, after 15 years of magazine work) and not hip to all the protocol yet. I don't want to step on any toes. Maybe Max Power can post something authoritive about sales numbers (Are you lurking, Max?). I don't have exact numbers anyway, but I've heard that a bunch of this printing was pre-sold a month before it actually printed. I don't know if that's good, or what to compare it to, but the company seemed pleased.

    I have three other books that CarTech found too nichey to market to the mainstream and now I'm taking a crash course in how to get them out there, independently. Hopefully, something will come of that before winter. We'll see...

    Jangle, Congrats on the book! BTW, Hemming's Classic Car Magazine copied your theme this month and the cover story is the top most classic Station Wagons. :disagree:

    Correction....Oops! Sorry, the Hemming article was last month. I was going to post a link on another page for everyone.
    The most Classic Wagons can't hold a candle to the America's Coolest Station Wagons, I am sure. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!!!

    Chevy Gal: Thanks for the heads-up! I'll have to sic CarTech's legal machine on those plagaristic weasels and declare war!!! Actually, a friend of mine works on that magazine. I better make sure he's out of harm's way, before sending in the goon squad...

    Hope you enjoy the book!

    I would love to be in Volume II... I have a 1973 Pontiac Astre Panel Express. One of 421 made. How many are left? We know of one. :^{D}

    Very cool book! Nicely done. I was very impressed with it. Kudos!

    Hey Doc, you never know... If this one sells, they'd probably like to sell more. I wanted an Astra or Vega in the book to represent that niche, but was surprised that I never found just the right one - they were all 'too much this', or 'not enough that', you know. So it wasn't meant to be, that time around. If there's a Vol. II, it's main job will be to show the stuff we didn't have room for in the first book. So you just might be a shoo-in...
