Where I live wagons are not plentiful, nor are wagon lovers and I usually get a blank stare or the question of why followed with a 'Wouldn't you rather have truck or a sporty car?" whenever I tell some one that I want a wagon. Ever since I was little I have loved 2 kinds of cars more than anything any one could offer me... Wagons and Hearses... yep hearses. Anyways I am glad to be here. I currently own an '03 Optima (not a wagon :( ) and my wife and I have been fixing it up since we got it so we can sell it. We used to have a 1984 Mercury Marquis Wagon and as is most often thought 'If I knew then what I know now' we would still have it. I will upload some pictures of as soon as I can find them. It was a fantastic car. we cried when it got towed off to the junk yard.
So a quick bit more about me. I live in awful Joplin, MO. I carve glass as a hobby. I am currently carving a Cadi out of a 5x1.5x1.5 block of glass. I wish to learn more about these wonderful machines and to someday soon welcome one back into my family/

    Welcome!

I just joined too and it's great that there's even a site devoted to wagons! My wife thinks I'm nuts, but at least I'm not alone!!

Thanks guys. As for car carving my wife won't let me carve on a car until we get one we are keeping for years and years. Understandably. My wife used to think I was nuts but since we had our wagon we were given a '95 Monte Carlo( the engine was bad when I got it), then we bought a '00 Suzuki Esteem that we lost when we got rear ended by a speeder (crazy good little car), and then the optima which we have had to put almost $2000 worth of repairs into it. And now my wife is like 'Hmm, coupes suck, sedans are great, but wagons are perfect and by far more useful.' I felt so proud since she doesn't really care about cars that much anyways. But we have decided thats we are getting and I want to learn as much about them as possible so I can find the best one for us.
