So do I just make the check out to Orthmannj? Congrats! And thanks to all who entered! Hard to believe this book actually goes to the WINNER of a contest...

And special thanks to Wagonmaster, for coming up with this whacky idea and to CarTech, for donating the book (which I have yet to recieve - but it should be any day now).

I hope it's okay to announce this now: Next week, Wagonmaster will be giving away a '57 Nomad that was recently discovered in a Detroit warehouse: The last '57 off the assembly line - test fired, engine drowned in oil, towed to storage and forgotten until found last month by Wagonmaster himself, while "searching for an address advertising a '96 Roadmaster tailgate latch assembly for sale". He can't divulge much in this public forum about it, other than some vague references to a gag order from GM's legal department. But I can tell you, the car has one tenth of a mile on it and does need tires, so it's not quite as cool as it first sounded, but still an interesting piece.
Way to go, Wagonmaster! And good luck to everyone next week...

Uh oh. Yes, "incredible" is the key word here - as in, "No credibility". Guess I just blew mine by being stupid here. I was just poking some fun and did NOT mean for this to be taken seriously. Bad move on my part. Lesson learned. My sincere aplogies to anyone who may have suffered any heart attacks over this. It won't happen again.
