I feel fortunate to have found this board. I have started restoring a 1964 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan. It is an original 289, A/C, auto car in fair condition. I was able to drive it onto the trailer when purchased. I look forward to the assistance of the experienced members of this board. Thanks Rodney

I am replacing motor mounts today; one down one to go. I have started stripping the south end of the interior and have some photos. I will post some soon (before/during of course). "After" may be a ways off. I am still undecided as to how to finish the interior since going completely stock may be impossible due to lack of components needed. I found it about a year and a half ago parked in a truck maintenance parking lot one quarter of a mile from my mom's house and only admired it from the road for a year. I stopped one day and asked if it was for sale and was told "No, it is my brother-in-law's and many people have tried buying it, but I will call him". The rest is history! Thanks to everyone who posted. Rodney
Nice wagon. I love those early Ford and Mercury wagons. I had a 64 Country Sedan myself 20 years ago.
