So while I've been wagonless, I've been playing with my PT Cruiser a little. I know these are a love or hate car for most, but in the end, the only one who has to love it is me. My wife and I have a blast with our Cruiser, enjoying topdown cruising all summer. Here's a couple pics for your pleasure (or hating - either way I'm OK...):thumbs2:

I just added the '39 Ford taillights this weekend, so I still have to paint the housings. Otherwise I'm pretty well done on this project, and I love it...:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

I'm all for saving the whales!!! Working on that as we speak...

I took the emblems off, and added a dash emblem from a 56 Chrysler to the 3rd brakelight...

It's a turbo, so it skoots along OK. It's just a driver, but occasionally I do fantisize about a HEMI conversion...

    OUCH!!!:biglaugh:

They are from Race & Street... What's your "Green jelly bean"?

I don't know where to start! I drive a 1973 Gran Torino Sport that I have since 1976. It had 11,000 on when I got it, today it has 36,000 miles. I don't own a station wagon but I have a good wagon story. In 1965 three families from our home town headed to NY city to the Worlds Fair. My father had a 60 Ford Gal. An other family had 58 Chevy wagon and the other had a early 60's Rambler wagon. I learned a very good leson that day, make sure the old gasket doesn't stick to the filter housing, my father was in a hurry to change oil and filter the night before we left. We only made about ten miles down the road be for we lost our oil. Good thing the other families had station wagons! We piled in the Wagons a went to the worlds fair!

Start in the Welcome Wagon section, GT. That's the intro section. Just leave your post here but copy and paste it into the Welcome section with a header of your choice. More people will find you that way.:yup:
