Different engine families. 292 is a "Y block", 352 is FE(?)

Thats a lot easier than you think.
Simply turn the engine mounts upside down to fit the FE engine into where the Y block lived.
I did this dozens of times in my youth, include a 390 with twin turbos into a 1958 Fairlane tudor hardtop .It lasted one mile. :rofl2::rofl2:

All of the Fords from 1955 through to the 1970's use the same basic trans and you can mix and match factory parts to get a trans to fit. Dave keys toploader site has a lot of good info on the Ford swappabilty choices. Automatic trans like FMX,C4,C6 etc are as common as anything and all fit .
