73 Bel Air wagon Hey Art - hope you're doing well. Man, I'll tell you it's nice to see someone doing a 73 Bel Air over. Looks like this one might be Canadian, judging by the location of the script on the back fender. I thought ours here in the states were on the front fender...Art, I am a little jealous, that's one sweet ride!
Art is looking for a tail gate window motor... I couldn't help him unfortunately.. somebody here has a spare to sell??
The 73 Chevy Impala and Belair wagons had the Nameplates on the rear quarter panels,in 74 the nameplates on the Impala and Belair lines were moved to the front fenders like on the sedans.
Welcome to the forums! It's great to see someone truly keeping a longroof like this one alive and well. That new color green is very fitting for the Chevrolet.
Hi Art, Another Dutch welcome to you! Now that's restoring a car! Great work! I'm currently restoring my clamshell and I found some parts I need that include a window motor. I still have my window motor, so if I do get the parts I'll have a motor to spare. I'll PM you on the progress!
I don't know how I missed this thread?? Really nice work on that wagon, Art! I hope you continue to post here....I see you haven't for awhile. I am looking forward to seeing that wagon's continued climb to glory!
:banghead3::banghead3::banghead3::banghead3: It wasn't Art needing a motor but somebody else.... Will forward your message to the one who is looking for one, EZ
Wow! what you did is my dream for my 67 impala. I need to repair some rust and I want to run it on propane someday. It looks great! and, let's see if I remember any Dutch.. Mijn moeder is Nederlandse!
Wagons getting this kind of attention - especially a Clamshell - warms my heart, truly. From one clamshell lover to another: Nice job and thank you for being a wagon-rescuer!! Can't wait to see even more pics!
