Throttle cable fell off. Of all the nerve.

Went to start her up this morning and on the final pump of the gas pedal it stayed flat on the floor. I didn't have time to look at it, had to just shut it off and jump in my wife's car to go to work. As suspected, the cable had come off the throttle, but I'm not 100% sure how to put it back on.

The end of the cable is intact, and I assume it goes on the big nub in the middle of the pic, right above the "63440". I also found the metal retainer clip that holds it all together...

but I suspect I'm missing some kind of spacer or washer. Can someone tell me what to ask for at the parts store, assuming the average AutoZone would have it? Or could I safely improvise with something from Ace Hardware?

Also, I found this in the same area...

From what I could glean from googling, this is either something called a TV cable that talks to the transmission, or maybe part of the cruise control? I'm not sure if it came off at the same time, or where it should connect (the other blurry nub at the bottom of the first pic?), but if anyone could tell me what it is so I can talk about replacing it since it's obviously trashed.

    Thanks!

PS. Haven't been on here for quite awhile, and last time it was to try and sell my wagon since we were in a financial crisis. I can't honestly say we're out of the woods, but anyway believe it or not my wife FORBADE ME from trying to sell the wagon. Bless her heart.

Thanks Tbirdsps, but I'm afraid that's the one part I don't need. :)

You don't have a Factory Shop Manual??
I don't remember the configuration on those. I always pulled the 307 out and replaced it with a 455 with a different intake and carb. However, if it slid off sideways, I would say that it is likely just a simple "C" clip that's missing.
