Wixom, thanks for the kind words, yes, these wagons are my favorite of all time. Wag, here's some more pics.TC has dual A/C with Autotemp, an AM/FM 8track, PW, and I installed the tilt-a-scope column and 300 grille

Hi Fellas; Just a note on the 440 TNT, the 71' Wagon 440 was optional and rated @ 335 HP. Standard engine was a 383 2 BBl. The TNT 440 which was detuned slightly to 370 HP, was not listed for the Wagon. Hope this helps, I'm including pic's from the 71' Chrysler features Brochure. John

Hey Mpj and other T&C guys....

Do your bench seats also have seat belts for FIVE per row?

Might be tight but mine has 5 sets of belts per bench...zThat makes it a 12 seater..lol

I think what you have is the early shoulder belts that had 2 seperate buckles for each outside front seat passenger. One for the lap belt and one for the shoulder belt. It sure leaves a mess of buckles all over the seat.

There will be a small group of #s and letters stamped into that boss that will answer ALL your questions as to what your horse actually iz. BTW :Welcome: To the party, THE '70 T&C HAZ BEEN ON MY WISH LIST SEAMZ LIKE FEREVER:162:. Any car sold on or after 1/1/68 should have front shoulder belts except convertibles.
They didn't have belts for five passengers across one bench unless somebody added them later, that would be tight.;)

You have a 71 T&C nearby in my local?

I also guess you refer to Monday nights at the Midwest Bank on Green..

Myself I am on th River, dead end on country club dr...

I will have to check out Monday nights at the Bank.

Every one else who responded with stats and insight I appreciate your input..TY!

There is also the possibility that there was an engine swap somewhere in its past. I kinda doubt if anybody would put a TNT air cleaner on a standard 440. I think there is a good chance that the air cleaner and the engine belong together. Check the side of the block for a build date. Also, the engine code is on the flat pad close to the distributor. I didn't read every word of every reply, so if this has been mentioned, disregard.

The 375 hp 440s had a Holley carb on a cast iron intake. I believe the engine code(5th digit)would be K.
The valve covers aren't original for sure.

    Go figure...

so I tried to figure out originally in this thread just what I had under the hood..

Good figure. Once I finally resigned to the fact I was too far away and with too little time, I listeded it for sale on Ebay.

The previous owner who had all the engine work done on it recognized it and filled the blanks in for me.

Yup, There was a reason it runs so fast and well and I will miss it.

I hope one of you here finds it a decent home and saftey
