Cool! Really liked the color of the interior...I think I would have to find a way to save those oil tags and paint it
I hate having to watch those videos... There's more stuff to read about it over here: http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/blog/category/Aftermarket.aspx
I'm CRAZY about this car... Here is another clip of it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg9VDZelXDc&feature=fvst I'd love to do this with the '56 Dodge wagon I saw for sale on here...
That DeSoto wagon is featured in and on the cover of the April 2011 Hot Rod magazine. Very cool old school/new wagon.
Yeah, I too have trouble with the 'unfinished' look. I want to drive a car that looks nice, not one that looks like it sat in a yard for 3 decades. Just my personal taste.......will admit that it makes the car more 'arty' if you know what I mean.
i am, too. had something similar in mind for mine, right down to the desoto grille. that is a nice touch.
Not having a garage, the appeal of not having to worry about polishing and cleaning the outside really appeals to me. I also just like the old patina look. But then, I have a house full of old antiques, so I guess it's just my taste... I've had show cars in the past. It was so much work to keep them nice, and every little scratch would bug the heck out of me. Guess maybe this is just be rebelling...
