Hey y'all! It's been a little while since I posted, but I have been roaming around the forums :yup: I'm just thinking out loud here..We're trying to sell our '72 Concours project wagon (just don't have the time to work on her)...that's no big deal..but we have been looking for a wagon doesn't need much work..one that is ready to roll! I have seen a bunch of really nice ones, and the location is no problem...the thing is, we just haven't found the ONE! Looking for a 70's wagon..could be any make and model, and year..just depends on the car, ya know. I know I'll know it when I see it..just haven't seen it yet! :( BUT, it's out there! Just rambling here...pay no mind to me..hehe :tiphat:

    Happy motoring, y'all! :chirp:

You are using my method of search. Except that I'm not actually searching. I believe that the right one will appear at the right time either by newspaper, my stumbling on it or an out of the blue phone call.

You will find the right one...eventually.(y)

Thanks, T! :tiphat: I know you're right! We've called about one or two, and thought about bidding on a few, but then said, no, we don't want to settle...we'll wait for the "right" one. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    Have a super day!

Hey LB :).. Well, it's mostly time..there just isn't any..plus, she needs sooooo much work..we really can't do it. We love her, and hate to sell her, but it's just wrong to keep her while she gathers more rust, rather than let her go to a home that will restore her. She could be a real beauty! :camera:

No one seems to want her though...

Thats too bad nobody wants her.. pretty cool looking wagon for sure. As long as you dont send it to the crusher..just give it some time. It took me 2 years to hook-up with my wagon.

Hey LB..Thanks! I surely don't want her going to the junk pile! She deserves to be restored :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

There's a wagon that I've seen, near where we work, that is beautiful! I was stopped at a light about a year ago, next to it..I asked the couple driving, about her. I've seen it parked at a house that we pass..I think the next time I see her, I'm gonna ask if they'd wanna sell her. I think she's an '87..don't know the make or model though. I doubt they'd part with her, but it can't hurt to ask :29:

    Have a good one!

There's surely somebody (even somebody here....) who wants to tackle your '72 Malibu. A pretty popular car for wagon restorers.

You'll find something. I'm like you - wouldn't want to take on a project that needs more than just a real good clean up and a few upgrades.....

Hey Krash! Yeah, I agree with you, there is someone out there who will want her, and who will do a great job restoring her! Just haven't from them yet..hehe!

And I'm with ya, a few upgrades, and some detailing...that's about all we want to have to tackle at this point. Thanks for the reassurance about the car...the right person will come along, I'm confident! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

    Have a great weekend!
