Oh, I forgot to post some stuff. It's got Wed's 2 piece wheels (which I'm planning on changing), GReady turbo timer, APexi boost gauge, Trust cat back, Blitz BOV and WAI, and an RFRB bodykit.

I'm glad that I found this forum. I think HiPo Wagons are really cool!

    Nice. :D RHD FTW.

Twin turbo, how big is the gap of death?

The gap of death is pretty bad thru first, but after that the shift points are above it. I don't really notice the gap in everyday driving.

Sexy wagon for sure. I saw you over at SL-i. I was actually going to let you know about these forums, but it looks like you're ahead of the game!

How do you like the Bilstein suspension? I have a GT-B suspension awaiting installation on my Outback.

    Thanks OutbackGT.

I really like the suspension. It corners very flat and has very little nose dive and squat. The ride isn't harsh at all. Maye it's the suspension, or the VDC, but the car seems almost impossible to unsettle in fast turns. Even with my poor driving skills. Ha!

One thing that took some getting used to...the Bilstein suspension seems to have ALOT of rebound dialed in, so every undulation on the road moves the car. It isn't hard and doesn't get real choppy (like a home-made cut spring lowering job...we've all seen those guys bouncing around in their cars!) but I wouldn't say that this suspension smoothes the road out in any way. To me it's a fair trade off the handling improvements.

Good luck with your installation. Let me know what you think when you get it done. I've done a suspension swap in another car a couple of years back, and it turned out to be a great improvement.

Thanx wagonmaster. I'm stationed in Okinawa right now. I'm from Florida originally. I really dig the colour of it, too. It's sort of a purple-blue in the light.

I almost bought a Nissan 200SX similar in colour. I ended up buying a black one, which I regretted and vow never to buy another black car. They look great when clean, but that lasts all but 5 minutes.... My current rides are silver. :)

I have a black Nissan in the states (in storage). I know what you mean about being clean for 5 minutes!!! Still, they do look real good right after cleaning them. I got lucky with this Subie...it's got real nice paint, it cleans up well, and doesn't show dirt that badly.

I've been thinking of changing the rims on this car. Perhaps something not so bling. Plus, they are quite heavy, so I've been thinking of going with a light forged wheel.

Maybe some nice gold or bronze BBSs. That would be hot.

Get a Nitrous setup. have it do a 20 shot or something right when you hit the 'gap', the second turbo will spool faster and it'll smoothe out your power delivery.

I second BBS wheels. :) Or ROTAs, or even Gram Lights.

    Nitrous? That's an interesting idea.

I got to thinking more about the bronze "BBS like wheel". We used to call them a spider wed design. (If that's what you guys mean) It would look cool on that car. Time to start searching again.

One other thing....I have a leak in my tail light assembly. I get water in it when it rains and it's starting to corrode my bulb sockets. Any ideas on fixing this?
